I communicated with my wife frequently in the past using internet cafes in Hong Kong. I am quite familiar with the concept, except the blocking aspect of it. I could clearly see the differences in accessibility. The anti-blocking programs should be used more, if they can safely do so. I believe it will be up to the students to continue to strive for access and help get the word out about the happenings in China. The government truly cannot control information as they did in the past with only the printed media.

I have really enjoyed the background of internet cafe's. Learning about the government process and how they allow internet access has been extremely interesting. Also, the scholarly information and their studies on government control internet is quite fascinating.
